New Zealand as a tourism destination internationally. Our
purpose is to grow the value of international visitors for
the benefit of the New Zealand economy. This is achieved by
developing and implementing marketing, media, trade, and
partnership strategies working co-operatively with our
offices around the world and the travel industry.
We are seeking a connected and motived Premium Sector
Trade Manager - Asia to proactively engage with premium and
luxury travel sellers across Asia with outcome being that
you increase the number of premium arrivals into New
Zealand. You will establish relationships, educate and
motivate clients through training, sales, marketing and PR
initiatives and events. You will be the key contact and
conduit for the New Zealand industry and the Asian industry
and it is essential that our message is consistent and
opportunities for involvement are presented.
Reporting to the General Manager of Asia your key focus
in this role is to be highly visible in the luxury travel
market and to cultivate long-term and close relationships
and to increase the profile of New Zealand as a premium
destination.
The right person for this role will be very connected
and a specialist in developing relationships and business
in the Premium Travel Sector or with an international
Luxury Brand. You are currently a key account, account
manager or a business development manager. We expect you to
be a mid-level/intermediate person who can hunt out and
convert new relationships in Premium Travel market across
China. This experience coupled with knowledge, and
credibility within the Chinese business world is essential,
as is a connection and a passion for New Zealand. This
role is only open to Chinese Nationals but it would be
ideal if you have least visited, studied or perhaps at one
point lived in New Zealand.
