HONG KONG – WORLDHOTELS has organised an Asian roadshow themed ‘Worldfocus’ for affiliates of the global sales, marketing and distribution network to promote their properties across the region.The Worldfocus roadshow, which began on June 1 and will end on June 11, includes Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo, and will allow almost 1,000 clients to network and dialogue with participating hotels. Affiliate hotels will have the opportunity to make presentations and have face-to-face appointments with key trade management companies, MICE organisers such as American Express and Carlson Wagonlit Travel and corporate clients.The two-week tour began in Singapore (June 1 to 2), will continue to Hong Kong (June 2 to 5), Shanghai where World Expo 2010 has just opened (June 6 to 8), and will end in Tokyo on June 11. Opportunities for networking, socialising and sharing experiences about current hospitality industry trends are also being organised for participating hotels at evening cocktail parties and dinners throughout the tour.Participating hotels include The Claridges Surajkund Delhi, Singapore’s Goodwood Park Hotel, the 1950s colonial icon, Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Dubai’s Bonnington Jumeirah Lake Towers, and Phuket, Indigo Pearl. “The Worldfocus roadshow is targeting the four most dynamic cities in the world’s most buoyant market for corporate hospitality event organisers and buyers.
