During the summit, on September, 19th, the
annual meeting of Committee of Tourism-Related Businesses was held by World
Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF). The 35 attendees included committee
representatives and other institutional members.
The committee report was given by Yu
Ningning, Director of the Committee of Tourism-Related Businesses and President
and General Manager of China International Travel Service. During the meeting,
major issues were discussed, including, new members introduction, exhibition
joint participation, selection of 2017 committee’s president and vice
president, cooperation with other committees and others.

The Committee of Tourism-Related Businesses
is a non-profit committee organization that was founded during the Second
Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit in September, 2013, by 28 large organizations and
companies from tourism-related fields from all over the world. Director of the
committee, Yu Ningning, said in her speech that, “the Committee of
Tourism-Related Businesses has focused efforts on the development plan and
annual plan of WTCF, under the uniform deployment of the latter for the last
three years. We have arranged many activities including exhibitions and forums
participation, exhibition organization, facilitating tourism marketing and
consumer marketing researches, tourism destination investigation, tourism and
financial insurance integration, tourism and airline routes cooperation, online
and offline travelling experiences introduction, Weibo and WeChat promotion,
tourism products marketing, annual review meeting, and many other meetings and
activities. These events have contributed greatly to expand the influence of
WTCF around the world and the committee will continue to play an active role in
promotion of tourist destinations.”
