Middle East’s First Legoland Opens in Dubai

The very first Legoland of Middle East opened in Dubai amidst great pomp and show at the Dubai Parks and Resorts. It has opened just beside Riverland, and it is a brand new complex of four theme parks in the region of Dubai. The best thing about it is that it boasts of over a 100 rides.

The destination in the Emirates is aiming to develop into a family theme park capital of the world thereby surpassing Florida.

Bu the end of 2016, Dubai is also slated to receive a Dubai Motiongate park as well as a Bollywood theme park. The Legoland complex would be equipped with a range of new attractions for its visitors.

Travel agents had been invited to a birthday party-themed evening in London on the very same day as the opening of Legoland.

Jackie Prats from the Co-Operative Personal Travel Advisor in Chingford and a London-based specialist from Global Getaways were the lucky winners for this grand event. Prats said that she was very excited for winning the lucky draw. She added that she had visited Dubai before but then it was 12 years ago. She added that the idea about visiting a particular destination for the purpose of selling it sounds really interesting and that she would be taking one of her four children along with her to Dubai.

These two winners were among the eight finalists who had participated in a Deal or No Deal –style game.

Ian Scott, group managing director of Advantage Management Group showed a video of the new attractions of Legoland to the people present at the event. He said that the history of Dubai is famous. Although 50 years ago Dubai hardly had any impact on tourists, currently about 1.4 million tourists visit this part of the world from UK alone and also many tourists from various parts of the globe.

Scott further added that Monday is a crucial day in the history of Dubai as it witnessed the grand opening of Middle East’s very first Legoland. He then said that tourists who are yet to visit Dubai would now have yet another reason to travel to this place.

After all, like the theme parks in Florida, tourists would also be capable enjoying theme parks experiences in Dubai.

Emirates Airlines also announced that it has decided to introduce flights to the Emirate from £300.
